A beautiful contemporary larch and zinc kitchen extension, bathroom and exterior

The Challenge

nest were appointed as main contractor by Ailteir Architects to build a new modern kitchen extension and patio. Works also comprised major slapping and steel erection, installation of new bifolding doors, new bespoke front door along with formation of a new shower room and utility room.

The Solution

Working closely with our clients, we developed the architects drawings to encompass a larger and more modern external patio / dining area. Specially selected Siberian larch was used to clad the extension. A zinc roof was carefully installed giving the extension a very modern and contemporary feel. Windows and doors were crafted in Scandinavia and installed carefully by our joiners. A new shower room was formed and then fitted out to our client's specification.

The Results

Jude and Gordon now have a beautiful contemporary family space leading out onto a modern granite patio. Light floods into their kitchen through the enormous bi-folding doors and skylight, making the rooms feel more spacious and open.

nest took the plans we drew up with our architect, and working closely with him and us, achieved just what we were looking for and more. We are delighted with our kitchen extension, utility room, bathroom and patio.
