This house had been left empty for four years when our clients Craig and Jo purchased it. There was old electric wiring, lead pipes – and even squirrels living in the loft!

We carried out a full house renovation whilst our architects prepared the warrant drawings for the new extension. Phase one of the works involved a full rewire, new central heating system, formation of a new dormer window and master bathroom, a new downstairs bathroom with internal decoration and new flooring throughout.

The second phase involved construction of a new contemporary extension which houses a stunning new modern kitchen, a dining area and lounge with a cosy wood burning stove. It has a spacious feel with the vaulted ceiling and the large Velux windows and the sizeable patio doors mean it's flooded with daylight. Externally the mystique bricks give a natural, contemporary feel, with areas of cedar cladding for added interest. The slate roof ties in with the new flat single ply roof and the four skylights flood light into the spaces.

The house is hardly recognisable from what it was and feels brand new throughout. The home is now modern and fresh with the usual high standard of finish clients expected of nest.
