Cleveden extension.
Contemporary house extension to traditional sandstone property.

About the project.

nest won a competitive tender to carry out alterations to Stuart and Roger’s beautiful period property. The project involved the removal of an existing conservatory and the construction of a new, single storey contemporary extension at the rear of their house.

Site access was particularly tricky with our team having to traverse a neighbour’s garden before navigating a tight lane with restricted parking and off loading restrictions. Our men overcame the challenges, carrying every section of steel, timber, roofing and multiple wheelbarrow loads efficiently.

The extension comprised of new luxury bedroom with direct garden access. Adjoining the bedroom is a stunning new ensuite bathroom with bespoke fixtures and fittings. Externally we installed new blackened decking, Scottish pebbles and gorgeous new cedar strip fencing.

The extension is expertly clad in grey zinc and complimented by a new green roof. This striking new contemporary extension contrasts perfectly against the solid backdrop of the original blonde sandstone building.
