About the project.
We converted three flats into two flats for this project for our clients Ali and Martin. Major structural alterations including inserting steel beams, forming a new external door and steps leading into the garden area were installed. We carried out a full rewire, new CH system and worked on refurbishing a kitchen, lounge, study, den, three bedrooms, three bathrooms, hallways and a large stairwell.
It was such a beautiful period house and it was important to maintain all the original features such as the intricate cornicing which was carefully reinstated throughout.
The result is an elegant blend of contemporary and traditional with bespoke touches such as the kitchen, complete with specially crafted white worktops and breakfast bar. and the master en-suite where our cabinet maker crafted bespoke walnut furniture.
Martin and Ali now have a beautiful, contemporary home with direct access to the garden. The house is flooded with light and feels elegant, modern and classic.
